I'm talking about those people who wanna take the right to working people waited patiently to -- party. And they are really have a war on the workers which they declared -- your order. Of 2011. When they -- it to work and fourteen -- They've taken away collective bargaining for public employees. It was continental. They're trying to do it elsewhere. -- weren't going on right now that's what I'm talking about right to -- that speak what we will appear. And eventually we get to go to the polls in November 12 that it could be opportunity for us to take back America for working people.
Do you think you can get labor to follow you in that direction mr. often when you look at. You that we do you see what the AFL CIO has said in the last week and other labor unions as well saying you know what we're sort of disappointed in this president He hasn't done and pushed through the measures we had hoped. He would put through for labor -- if if so many other labor leaders and and labor organizations feel that way why don't you.
So that we at this rally around the president because the alternative is basically. -- Are people like that and obviously those people you know don't share our view. And that I think Detroit is gonna be very clear people have a very conservative candidate running for president here and I think going to be a clear choice for America. You wanna get rid of Social Security Medicare -- if you wanna get over a group collective bargaining for working family. I think that the church that we feel -- on the horizon. So what we are talking about a war on workers. The warriors coming in the war here in the -- giving up we what they did the the president with regard to that that's feeling. Know that it's been frustrated what was I thought very reasonable operate you know give me a billion dollars. In revenue would now cut four billion trillion whatever -- want Ed they turned him.
Okay but that's that's that's that's that's politics I mean I could happen on either side right. But that's politics that can happen on either side and it happened just happen on either side that's not just everybody against the president's way Washington works.
Think that's true. But I think we just got to -- you know talking about the issues tonight we're looking forward the president introducing his program probably gonna put America back to work. But the point is if not just the federal government. The government effort to play it back to work. We expect to get American business at all. It off the sidelines sitting on billions and billions of dollars and help them start in in America. This is about -- democratic problem or Republican problem this is an American problem.
Is it an American problem when you look at American with what what we would call American companies because they're based here in the US I'll give you that. But on the other hand these are all global companies HP is not in American General Electric is not in America Coca-Cola is not in America these are global worldwide companies where. Labor in other countries makes it more advantageous to hire people there is that a fair argument.
The argument because -- simulating. The answer you think at apple you know they -- they have built something here they're sitting on celebrities they're. Billion dollars west is that -- on the that they're gonna keep -- thinking got out of that country or that that they built should be you know in America. They're not doing that. In the entered I think it's a question that it's a debate we should have but I think that people say you know they don't have -- incorporated here. They've incorporated in state like Delaware. They are basically part of this country. And they all obligations of the country they can't keep our way up American after America after America and closing factories and with a symmetric. Toward the Third World it's not like. I don't think Americans agree with that and should be what we could you're talking about and we sure pure point these people as they say the -- play you've built. In America and put Americans back to work.

Don't have the power to turn these companies around and they're not listening. We want you know you could write a letter to the head of apple or at. The shareholders don't want this to be happening. -- the American people don't want culture there -- some guy that should all I want to make more money I don't care public Americans who went up. But I think that's well and that's the debate we have to have.
